I’ve realized long ago that my life is anything but normal. Norma is not normal! My husband and I live in a haunted house and I collect mortuary photos. That’s normal, right? We all have a tendency to be comfortable and not take chances. I am here to say – TAKE THOSE CHANCES! Jump in the deep end and go forth with the unexpected! Don’t be normal! Normal is so last year and Normal feels like you are wearing taupe! I hate taupe. Spice it up……Take a chance……wear black! I always feel safe and fierce in black! It’s slimming!
Speaking of being in mourning.
I’ve stayed away from the news since November of 2016 and I am now really disgusted every time I see a bag of CHEETOS! I think I need therapy because nothing seems real anymore. It’s as if that buzz from last night’s vodka is still with us on a daily basis and it’s hard to shake! I just can’t anymore! It’s so pathetic and comedic at the same time I think we are all in some sort of TWILIGHT ZONE episode! I’ve started watching SNL again just so I can make sense of things!

FOLLOW UP ON LAST MONTH’S MONTHLY RANT! (I’ve been scolded! Boo Hoo Hoo) My insider at Chuck’s chastised me for speaking out about their obvious business changes at the western watering hole. (Well, it used to be western. Now it’s more like a combination of Bonanza meets RuPaul with WeHo attitude and prices!) Alcohol makes people talk buddy! And if you don’t want me to say anything about the dissatisfaction of the employees, the locals and the action in the men’s powder room…..you should try staying sober!!! BAM
THE PLACE TO BE ON AUGUST 19, 2017 AFAN BLACK AND WHITE PARTY – A New Orleans Soiree at the Hard Rock! rr Auntie Norma has been crowned the “Duchess of Decadence” and will be co-hosting this incredible night with television anchor / Emmy Award winner Miquel Martinez-Valle. Elaborate costumes are strongly encouraged this year because we will have several very exciting and outlandish style parades! The entertainment will be amazing and so will be the food and booze! In the year 2017, we should not have to be gathering for HIV / AIDS, but until there is an end to this crisis, we will congregate to make a difference and raise a lot of much needed financial assistance! Come join in the fun and LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL!
