A community comes together to celebrate the life of Ryan Zink

On January 14th, the cast of Divas along with hundreds of community members held a memorial service for Ryan Zink at Charlie’s Las Vegas.q

Andrew Ryan, cast-mate at Divas, curated the event that would raise funds for Zink’s family to cover funeral and travel expenses. A nice display was set up on the dance floor that paid tribute to Zink, as well as his iconic Reba McEntire persona that so many fans came to know. 

The event was meant to celebrate his life so much of the ceremony had an uplifting tone. Performances from Jimmy Emerson, Steven Wayne, Kenneth Rex, Crystal Woods, Michelle Holliday. 

Zink served in the U.S. Army and local staff sergeant Deborah Galan performed the National Anthem and the Presentation of Colors.

Highlights of the event included slideshow with pictures of Zink’s life that had been collected from various friends and family members. 

A somber moment happened when the song “Fancy”, the song in his performance at Divas, played one last time in his honor.

Ryan Zink was loved by many people. He will be missed.
