Well it’s here - 2017! I refuse to get political but I am ready to get sassy!
Here we go! Get Ready……….as Bette Davis once stated in the ever so best role that Norma could debut (besides Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard)that infamous line from the film All About Eve –
“Fasten your seatbelts. It’s going to be a bumpy night!”
I’d change the word night to YEAR! I do believe that it will be a bumpy year!
My grandfather used to say “Lord bear down on us sinners, but not too hard, just kind of easy like!”
Well, the Lord better be watching over all of us! Especially those of us who are LGBTQ, a minority, women, or Muslim, pee sitting down, left handed…….etc.…etc.…etc.… #can’tbelieve whatjusthappened #I’llbuilkdafreakingwallaroundyou!

As I go into 2017 I will count my blessings for who I am and what I am grateful for! I took the time and wrote a few things down on a piece of paper that I put in my purse (wallet) and when it gets crazy all I have to do is pull out that piece of paper and reflect on these things. I encourage all of you to do the same. It is very easy and helps with clarity and focus in these times of chaos.
