Lyft Las Vegas has partnered with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department to provide safe rides for Labor Day weekend continuing their shared goal of making Las Vegas driver fatality free.

"The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department will not tolerate impaired driving, especially with services like Lyft," said Sergeant Jeff Clark, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. "Celebrate responsibly and keep our city safe and DUI free."

Starting Friday, Sept. 1 at 12 a.m. and ending Monday, Sept. 3 at 11:59 p.m., new and existing Las Vegas Lyft users using code "LDW17" will receive up to $5 off two rides while supplies last.

"Labor Day brings in a slew of people to Las Vegas as it's a day of fun and relaxation," said Yacob Girma, Lyft Las Vegas general manager. "Kick back and let Lyft do the driving for you so you can end your summer on a safe note."
