The queens of RuPaul’s Drag Race will begin their Fall 2018 North American WERQ THE WORLD TOUR this September with thirty-two live shows throughout the USA and Canada. Produced by Voss Events in collaboration with VH1 and World of Wonder, the hilarity and hijinks will launch September 5th in New York City and end October 27th in Miami. Major stops along the way include Boston, Toronto, Chicago, Los Angeles, Dallas, and San Francisco. Bob The Drag Queen and/or Michelle Visage will host with live performances by some of the series’ most unforgettable queens including Violet Chachki, Kim Chi, Shangela, Valentina, and three soon-to-be-announced RuPaul’s Drag Race Season Ten queens. Tickets are on sale now at www.werqtheworld.com.
“After a six-month drag hiatus, I can't wait to get back on the road with WERQ THE WORLD,” says Bob The Drag Queen. “It’s the best drag show I've ever been part of.”
“Audiences from all around the world have raved over WERQ THE WORLD, and we're thrilled to bring the exciting experience back to our die-hard fans in the USA and Canada," adds Shangela. "You won't find this unique combination of talent, production and fan interaction with any other drag tour out there."
“We have an entirely new show for 2018,” continues producer Brandon Voss. “WERQ THE WORLD is bigger and better than ever before with over-the-top production numbers, elaborate costumes, incredible sets and gag-worthy visuals.”
Voss Events is a leading production company that consistently delivers superior entertainment programming. Past events have featured stars such as Lady Gaga and Cher.
The North American legs comes after sold-out shows across Latin America and Europe earlier this year. After North America the tour will move on to Asia and Australia. Tickets for the RUPAUL’S DRAG RACE 2018 WERQ THE WORLD tour are on sale now at www.werqtheworld.com.
